After the overwhelming response in 2009 for the Platform exhibition and Furniture Design Award display area, Jarrod Lim Design was once again awarded the project to design and develop the space to house these two important events in the Singapore design scene.

The theme for this year's event was the 'flow of ideas.' This was represented in each event using 1000's of paper aeroplanes as ideas and ceiling fans that 'circulated' these ideas around the site.

Once again the very short construction time and tight budget made the project very 'interesting' but the response was worthwhile with positive comments all round.

Thank you to everyone that folded the 10,000+ paper aeroplanes! Don't worry, the paper was all recycled afterwards.
