In 2009 Jarrod Lim Design was approached to design the 880 square metre space that would house the event.
With a very tight budget and short time frame Jarrod Lim Design worked on an intelligent concept of die cut paper panels that could be joined together to form a curtain and then hung from the ceiling.
The paper units combined with directional lighting created a vivid halo effect around the space resulting in a very uplifting and optimistic atmosphere.
Raw plywood panels around the outer wall maintained the simplicity of the design creating a 'container-like' structure to emphasise the unique talents housed within.
